In its work, the CEI (Italian Electrotechnical Committee) has always accompanied national technological development through the development of authoritative technical standards that are aligned with European and international guiding principles. Standards represent a strategic instrument that ensures security, quality and competitiveness and connects companies, professionals and institutions through a globally recognised system, always keeping an eye on the future.
It is in this context that we present the new “Young” Effective Member package, an initiative that seeks to promote the participation and reinforce the role of new generations of professionals in the standardisation work of the CEI and its Technical Committees.
Technical standardisation requires competent, methodical and capable persons who can interpret the evolution of technology. It is an activity that naturally looks to the future and for this very reason needs the contribution of young professionals. Promoting their introduction in the Technical Committees means guaranteeing continuity, renewal and an updated version of the innovation market’s demands.
The “Young” package seeks to promote the participation of young professionals in the CEI’s Technical Committees and offer them an opportunity to join the world of standardisation. This entrance will allow these young professionals to understand and participate in the mechanisms behind national, European and international standardisation.
The “Young” Effective Member, at a yearly price of 750€, allows the assignment of 2 experts under the age of 35 to the Technical Committees and Subcommittees and offers all the other advantages of a regular Effective Member membership.
The Young package represents a tangible opportunity to invest in one’s competences and on the future of standardisation.
Participating today means strengthening the Italian standardisation system on the international stage
The CEI invites companies and organisations to take the opportunity and contribute to continually improve standardisation and make it more open, representative and capable of facing the challenges posed by technological innovation.
