The national standardization program, presented below, includes all technical standards projects currently being developed by CEI (Italian Electrotechnical Committee). This document not only allows the reader to have a complete and, at the same time, detailed vision of the national technical activity presently pursued, but also to meet the requirements of UE Regulation (EU) No. 1025/2012 1025/2012which constitutes the legal basis for all European technical standardization.
This Regulation indeed requires:
- article 3.1: “At least once a year, each European standardisation organisation and national standardisation body shall establish its work programme.. That work programme shall contain information on the standards and European standardisation deliverables which a European standardisation organisation or national standardisation body intends to prepare or amend, which it is preparing or amending and which it has adopted in the period of the preceding work programme, unless these are identical or equivalent transpositions of international or European standards.””
- Article 3.3:
“Each European standardization organization and each national standardization body shall make its work program available on its own website or on any other publicly accessible website and shall also publish a notice regarding the existence of the available work program in a national publication or, where appropriate, a European publication on standardization activities.”
The Program, which you can view in its entirety at the bottom of the page, includes a detailed list of international and European standards currently being adopted by CEI (Italian Electrotechnical Committee) as the Italian standardization body, as well as national standards and guides that are under development, public inquiry, or publication.
The Program is updated semiannually to provide an always up-to-date overview of ongoing standardization activities.
