Characterize the heat flow level and the ventilation conditions which burning occurs

To characterize the level of flow and ventilation means to calculate or to state the conditions of flow of heat and ventilation that can realistically occur in the system, so that to help the flame propagation or the combustion. Some ventilation conditions, namely "the chimney effect", introduce a stronger factor which, in general, is not easily reproducible on a single component. Subsequently the levels determined in the combustion test on component or on the complete system are applied. The drip phenomenon which introduces, during combustion, a further element of risk for the propagation have to be taken into account.
