Characterize the heat level and ventilation conditions under which flame spread occurs

To characterize the level of flow and ventilation means to calculate or to state the conditions of flow of heat and ventilation that can realistically occur in the system, so that to help the flame propagation or the combustion. Some ventilation conditions, namely "the chimney effect", introduce a stronger factor which, in general, is not easily reproducible on a single component. Then the determined levels in the component propagation test or on the complete system are applied.
