The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified persons, but - by their very nature - could allow the identification of users.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the file size obtained as response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successfully performed, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the client operating system and computer environment.

These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information about the site and to check its correct functioning and they are deleted immediately after processing. The data could also be used to ascertain responsibility in case of computer crimes against the site.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of personal data from the user to the email contacts on this site entails the acquisition of the data provided by the sender.

CEI - Electrotechnical Committee has taken all the minimum security measures required by law and inspired to the main international standards; it has also taken further security measures to minimize the risk concerning confidentiality, availability and integrity of personal data collected and treated.

Apart from these cases, personal data will not be disclosed to anyone, unless required by contract or authorized by the user itself. In this sense, personal data could be transmitted to third parties solely and exclusively in the event that:

  1. there is an explicit consent to share data with third parties;
  2. there is a need to share information with third parties in order to provide the required service;
